Most Interesting Religous Experience Ever.

So today was the first time i got to go to sembahyang jumaat ever since i got to Cardiff cuz its the first time i didn't have class on a friday! :) Anyways, it was the craziest ive been to.

when i left the house, it was raining (which has been happening on a regular basis now - which is very depressing, reminds me of Forks town from Twilight ;) hahah) so i was wet the whole time i was cycling there (oh i have a bike that use to go to places here cuz everythings close by). So when i got there, the khutbah was still on and ppl were waiting outside cuz it was full outside. This arab guy was nice enough to offer a share of his umbrella which made me feel very "i'm a muslim, so arabs here are my brothers". hahah. so after the khutbah finished, we were all waiting to go inside, but then the guy infront of me said it was full and we couldnt smbhyng inside....

SO WE PRAYED OUTSIDE IN THE DAMN RAIN ON THE WET PAVEMENT!!! i was very "shit is everyone seriously gna pray out here"??? so some ppl used newspapers, some ppl brought tikars, but i had NOTHING! and i didnt want to leave cuz it was the only time i could smbhyng, so i was all screw it, ill try something new. so i ended praying on the wet pavement. when i went down for the sujud i could smell the molds and fungus on the pavement, and so i didnt want my forehead to touch the ground. so i just kinda kept a 1cm space between my head and the ground. i dont think my prayers was 'sah' anymore, but oh well. and my knees were freakin killing me cuz the ground was so hard...it was cement!

anyways, that was it for today. i spent the whole day at home eating on my couch watching tv. didnt even study :( but yeah, interesting experience it was.

till next time, isa says.
you should always come early for friday prayers. :)
